Meet Your Doctor

Dr. Ryan Ngo grew up in Portland, Oregon, and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. He completed a residency in ocular disease at the Spokane Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, and inflammatory diseases of the eye.

Following his residency, Dr. Ngo practiced at Kaiser Permanente, working alongside ophthalmologists in a collaborative medical setting. This experience gave him hands-on expertise in managing complex eye conditions and handling urgent and emergency eye cases with confidence.

Today, Dr. Ngo provides primary and medical eye care with a focus on specialty contact lenses (including scleral lenses) and dry eye management. He is passionate about using advanced diagnostic technology to catch problems early and develop personalized treatment plans for every patient.

Dr. Ngo has also volunteered with AMIGOS, providing free eye exams to underserved communities in Costa Rica and Cambodia. These experiences reinforced a philosophy he carries into every patient interaction: to serve and care for everyone, regardless of background.

Outside the office, you will find him traveling, hiking, camping, snowboarding, or taking morning walks with his wife and dog.
